Pretty sure B-24 was tops in production for US WW2 aircraft,
and a must  for any flight sim/game.
(was in a B24 squad in WB3) ;)

Though a Dornier, Pe2 or Betty would be fine by me,
the B24 will need to be included at some point

I understand why it is taking so long. The A26 Invader requires special artwork and flight modelling. You have to get the flaps juuuuuuuuuust right, otherwise, it won't be very good in a low E turnfight.

I can wait.   :aok

I forgot B-24 is also large bomber.

If coming new bomber is B-24, we can see B-24/P-38L group vs Ki-84 battle. :)

Im definately going to start a B-24 squad if it is added to the game.

But: back to topic.

A screenshot of the unskinned aircraft would be appreciated if possible, but I can wait for the near-finished product. :)

Also Mitsu, it would allow for some great scenarios to be created including what you said with the P-38/B-24 vs Ki84.

The Vader would be awesome.  But, we already have the Havoc.  So, I don't think the Vader would be added at this point.

I always figured that HTC avoided modelling the Vader early on so that they could offer the Air Warrior crowd something new.    Just a guess, though.

Okay, okay...yea, it could be the B-24.

Nope! Brit! Hanley Page Heyford!

I just with the 1/72 Matchbox model kit for it wasn't so damn hard to find :P

Also... B24 is the LAST plane that the planeset needs. Think about it, the performance is ONLY the same as the B-17. The defences are the same. The bomb load is only about 2k more. It's a WASTE to add the B24 when the b17 fills in nicely and when there are so many holes in LW bombers, IJN bombers, and RAF bombers... (forget Italian bombers, the Italians had crappy planes and weren't as active as the LW in most areas :P)

I don't normally fly BUFFS, but I'd ride the B-25 Mitchell if it's added.
