Why do all maps have to have equal numbers of bases per country?

Some maps, Mindano e.g., seem to have location advantages due to geometry.  It seems that the country located in the west usually is never reset.

It might be interesting to give a country advantage due to geometry of the map or altitudes but also give them fewer bases.

Just trying to think outside the box to keep things different and interesting.

maps like mindanao should set 1 team to have 1 base only.

So it resets immediately and we dont have to put up with it all week.

If we were each allowed to pick a Fav Map & a "kill it" map.
Ozkanzas would be my top pick.

Well, actually I was thinking of this more as an inspiration for future maps.  I wasn't necessarily bagging on Mindano.  I was just using it as an example.

Or I guess mods could be made to existing maps.

I'll vote for that .. why can't we vote out one map per month or something?  Many of em are more than tired.

Sorry.  I must not have explained myself thoroughly.

This is not a 'vote for your favorite/least favorite map' thread.

This was simply to be a possibly inspirational thread to map development.

I thought that it might be inspirational to certain people to point out that perhaps the map do not have to developed so that each country is identically equal.  Give each county an advantage in one area while taking away in another.   I think that this could possible make the 'war' a little more interesting.

But if most insist on making it a 'I hate this map' thread then there is nothing I can do at this point.

No one was asking to pick a fav map, looks like he was trying to throw a lil something on the table, maybe get some ideas rolling?
