It seems that some of the Iraqi athletes are unhappy with being featured in a Bush campaign ad.

You guys can not understand their feelings? Those people are suppose to welcome a foreign army whilst their families are killed?

Honestly, if the situation was turned 180 degrees, we as americans, would support the invading army?

Well, that would be like Saddam invading America and shooting MT and Sandman and RPMhat, and then, a bunch of Deisel Dike Liberals would get pissed and bomb Saddams troops.

I want the violence and the war to go away from the city," says Sadir, 21. "We don't wish for the presence of Americans in our country. We want them to go away."

Manajid, 22, who nearly scored his own goal with a driven header on Wednesday, hails from the city of Fallujah. He says coalition forces killed Manajid's cousin, Omar Jabbar al-Aziz, who was fighting as an insurgent, and several of his friends. In fact, Manajid says, if he were not playing soccer he would "for sure" be fighting as part of the resistance."

You're getting the opinion of a 21 year old Jock!

Is this what you want to base your international policies on?

OH NO, THEY KILLED MY COUSIN!!..of course, he was shooting at the american troops at the time..but hey...

Pfffft...more liberal media crap.

Jock or not, he probably has a pretty good  handle on the common vibe of Iraqi people..

That 21 year old is probably almost just like every other 21 year old in America.. He was just born and raised somewhere else.

How hard is it to put ourselfs in other's boots to attempt to understand them? Pretty damn hard it seems.. Why understand them when we can simply bomb them as simplified in our commander and chief's own words: 'Bring it on!'

Guess they should have thought about that before they invaded, raped and pillaged Kuwait and then refused to leave. Won't you agree?

From one of the Iraqi athletes:  "They are with what America has done in Iraq: destroy everything. The American army has killed so many people in Iraq. What is freedom when I go to the [national] stadium and there are shootings on the road?"

Good grief!
