What a diverse collection! Many a time I've wielded my trusty claymore in the heat of battle but lacked a proper spatula to flip the celebratory omelette after. Finally, the cries of the modern combative chef have been heard and answered!

What are the laws concerning switchblades?  I've always heard they were illegal to possess, except for law enforcement.

they (switchblades) are illegal in California if the blade is longer than 2".   I don't have much interest in carrying a knife with a blade much longer than that anyway.  At least not on a daily basis.

I believe that the law was made based on the danger that switchblades couold pose after one of the girly men politicians saw "west side story".   Lots of horror stories about em but very little data suggesting that they were ever a problem.

Just more silly govenment protecting people from themselves with junk science and alamist reactions.
