do you have any good pictures of Bader's Spit V that can be used for making a skin of it?

Thanks in advance!

From the Osprey book Spitfire Mark V Aces 1941-45.

It's a Va so no 20mm cannon on this one.

I've got this scan I did from a book (can't remember which) years ago. I can't vouch for how authentic it is though.

A quick search of the serial turned up this description of the 'plane:

I don't even know if Bader flew the Spit Vb, or just the Va.

Bader was the anti cannon man.  He thought the cannon's caused pilots to fire from too far out.  He was strictly a 303 man and stuck with the Va despite the 20mm Vbs.  He went down in this particular Va in August of 41.

Couple of images of Bader's Va and a profile I did a long time ago of Bader's Spit IX after he got out of the POW camp.  He was in this one when he lead the Battle of
Britain Flypast in 1945.  THe profile isn't that good, but you get the idea on the markings if you wanted to do his IX.

Looks like he had the rudder replaced at some point.  Or the rudder is turned at just enough of an angle to get a goofy reflection from the sun.

I think it's a replacement rudder myself.
