AH2 just BLEW UP!
« on: August 19, 2004, 09:51:59 PM »
Hi folks,
I've actually been running just fine ever since AH2 came out, but this evening I've had a problem develop.

I'm seeing:
The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 08/19/2004 @ 22:54:19.671 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 77F88216 (RtlpWaitForCriticalSection)

AH2 will start, but the minute I try to connect (or even play offline) it just shuts itself down with this error.  I did notice that my airplane sounds cut out (but my vox still worked) right before all this started happening.

Any ideas guys?  I'm going to download a full install and reinstall just to see if that makes any difference.  Nothing has changed on my system lately, I've shut down my AV software and my SW firewall (just in case) with no effect.

I had a problem like that only without the error code. Try disabling texture preload. Worth a shot.

thanks for the help - I unchecked preload textures and it went back to working fine.
