Well... I bet I know what you're thinking... you're thinking... there's no possible way that George Lucas could screw up the Star Wars franchise any worse than the last two (and probably the next) Star Wars movies...

But wait!

There's more to come!

Why not.  Getting mad about it would like being angry someone drew glasses on the Mona Lisa after someone set it on fire.

I hear that the working title of Episode VII is, "The Vindication of  Jar-Jar"

I wonder how they'd make Harrison Ford look younger than the original trilogy.

of course, he has also said he "didnt like the character of han solo" and that "he was a sleezebag."  Or something along those lines.

If Lucas had made all the films with the same intensity and seriousness of purpose as "The Empire Strikes Back", we would all be worshipping the ground he walks on. But, alas, he went the way of Ewoks and Jar Jar.

Sad, isn't it?

hey the ewoks were GREAT. Classic saga storytelling element: in dire times the insignificant and powerless rising up to fight... david vs. goliath, etc etc. Besides, who can't help but remember the ewok banging the foot of the AT-ST with a rock club ? hehe :D

Jar Jar was like plugging the teletubbies into the movie *sigh*

If there really are going to be new movies one can only hope it follows the timothy zahn novels of the rise and fall of admiral Thrawn & the nohgri... would make an excellent movie.

I remember going to see the Ewoks thing at the cinema... I had just seen "Star Wars" somewhere in the title, and payed no more attention... got the ticket, and wondered for a few minutes WHY I was sitting in a room full of children with their parents. I found out not long after :(
