Film viewer "path" persistence
« on: August 27, 2004, 04:52:58 PM »
I'd like to use the veiwer to analyse flight strategies, but when I click the paths on and pause, i find the "ladders" disappear at a rate of 1 per second. This defeats the purpose, as I can't see how people countered from external views.

Are there any ways to keep the "ladder rungs" from erasing themselves, so flight paths can frozen and studied?

Is this a bug (belonging here), or a feature (belonging in film forum)?

you don't have to pause, you can play it real, real slow...

In a real long close engagement those ladders would get re-laddered, so to speak, so much you couldn't make heads or tails out of them. They have to disappear after awhile to prevent this. That's the logic as far as I know behind them going away after awhile.

Thanks, shane -- good idea for a work around. I'll give that a try.
