First, Thanks for releasing the AH2 Terrain Editor.
I’d like to speed up and simplify the edit-build-test-edit process of building terrains so I have a request for your consideration when updating the AH2 Editor. It centers around the build process and the things I’d like to see and adjust in a dialog window before the build.
1. I’d like to select Build and see a Dialog Window with the size setting so it could be confirmed and adjusted.
2. I’d like to have the size setting saved in a file in the map source folder so they don’t default back to 256 each time.
3. I’d like to see two radio buttons.
A. Include Default Clipboard map.
B. Use Clipboard map source in the “texsrc” folder.
Build would still always output the “map.bmp” file. Of course right now it only produces a blue “map.bmp” file for me.
4. Include an error list box at the bottom of the Build Dialog with an optional Save Report check box.
Of course, the dialog window would need a close button.
