how difficult would it be to select around 10 different channels for each side for GV use only?

it does get frustrating when flying in heavily GV'ed and planed areas when you cant get a word in edge ways.

maybe even create a whole new range vox for GVs.

GVs could still comunicate with a/c on normal range but wouldnt clog up the airways with...

XXXX: one over there! tiger! tiger!
XXX2: i dont see him? i dont see him.
xxx3: got an M3 here, bringing supplies, where....
Batfink: redtop, you got ......*crrrrrrrrrffft*
XXX4 i got an m8 on the ridge, holy crap he's shooting at me!
XXXX: i see him XXX4, jesus!! my turret is out...
Batfink: REDTOP! check si... *crackle*
XXX5: oh my god guys, did you watch that re-run of Dallas last night?
XXX2: yeah i saw it, was friggin hilarious...
XXX3: supplies out, i got two more, anyone need them?
XXX5 i couldnt believe it when sandy told jake she loved him.
XXX2: oh god yeah!
Redtop: im down, why dint you tell me about the typh?
Batfink *fume*
XXX7: im gunna go get a samosa form the store, afk two minutes...
ETC,ETC.

a seperate vox for GVs would make the game far more effective in densely populated areas.

couldnt be that tough to setup.
just put something on MOTD and people would catch on quick.

infact, no extra programing would be need. simply delegate some of the existing unused channels to GV.

please?

with a cherry on top?

thanks for listing.

are you saying you would not hear the aircraft while in the GV?

i guess i dont get it.

have a 3rd tunable vox, call them a b and c.

right now a is tuned, b open range, and c would be similar object (plane to plane / GV to GV)... not a bad idea, but what would be in place to stop the chatters from clogging that channel too.

also what would squelch what?

in the scenario above you sometimes need to hear the people in planes call out GV's they spot. if you hear some then you hear all. you would still be clogged with their chat, just would have another channel to key up on. but like i said, what would squelch what? right now i believe squad / tuned keys up over range (or at least it was like that in AH 1). this new channel, would it be a higher priorty than range?

i always have been in favor of more VOX channels, but the more i look at the situation, all i see is headaches for those involved.

the only real suggestion i thought of is make both radios tunable.

make a radio XI on the text bar, with a drop down list. you can either put a number in there, or "range"

that would solve a myriad of problems, like the option to squelch range, with kids playing and stuff, and a second vox for joint operations of some sort. 1 way to designate if the person is tuned range or not is possibly like the current method. their icon changes color. OR maybe add's a R or P before or after their name in the icon. R = range P = private make that letter always white or something.

oh well those are my thoughts,.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Hmmm........  I'm thinkin this could create very big BANDWIDTH problem.

Which would probably create LAG/WARP issues for allot of people.

If so then I say NO THANK YOU!  Got enough of the above now!
