I don't go to work anymore now. That in itself is kinda nice.
Best thing in the last couple of days was the lighting ceremony at Mt. Rushmore and helping participate in the securing of the Colors. Very simple but moving ceremony. Rushmore at night is simply awesome.
Being able to simply wake up, look at a map and decide where we'll go that day / week and what we'll do is pretty special.
Simply waking up and knowing the wife is there beside me after spending so many sleepless nights dealling with her cancer and related surgeries is a real upper as well.
