Man last nite was fun
« on: August 26, 2004, 01:56:04 AM »
It was about 11PM pacific standard time, rooks had about 60 players, knits about 60 & bish about 30. About 40 knits/rooks fightin each other  ovr furball island.  Dar bar indicated the northern knit/rook front had about 6 planes goin at it fierce:rolleyes: . So that left about 35 knits fightin about 15 bish in the west, & about 35 rooks fightin about 15 bish in the east. This is about the 3rd nite in a row I have noticed this trend in this time slot.

I will say that fighting 3-5on1 all the time has really helped me shake the rust off fast. but I'm starting to get tired of it now. This is the time I have to play, and this is the arena status at the time I have to play.

I have considered going knit and trying to increase activity Vs knits & rooks in this timeslot. One nite I did just that, I switched to knits for a nite cause I wanted to see if my dar as a bish was maybe just not seeing the northern fite. But when I got to knitland the dar was working fine, there just wasnt much activity.
I made my pressence in knitland known, & announced I was takin eggs to rookland. Not long after a nice knit/rook battle ensued, maybe coincidence, maybe not.

So dont be surprised if ya see me in knitland takin eggs to the rookies. Its one of my last attempts to have fun in the timeslot I have to play. Gonna have to re-train myself in buffs, Cmon TOD!

Try 5-10 on 1 for over a year and see how old it gets. ;)

Part of playing the game is learning WHERE to fly.

Learning to read the map, like a fisherman reads a river.  Figuring out where the good holes are where the big fish lay up.

Its the same here.

Even with double gang (both other country's nailing you) and #'s in their favor as long as there are 5 - 8 fields on your side you can find your fight.

You just have to know what you want, and where to find it.

Personally I prefer beating up on hvy F6fs, F4us,  so I look for an enemy cv attacking on of my fields etc.

I have spent a bit of time searching the bish fronts for what I want. What I want is a relatively even numbered fight for whatever reason, be it furball or base capture. Perhaps your right & I do need to find a better fishing hole......

What is the current lock time between country switch? If I recall it was 24 hours? or was it 12? I'd like to see it set at 8 hours. My reason for this is- You're almost gauranteed to find a different sway of momentum in the MA if you checked in every 8 hours. This would give the few people who are willing to switch countries to improve overall gameplay in times of need, more opportunity to do so.
I don't know of any downside to having country lock time being reduced to 8 hours or even less, is there any?

I believe that HT has set the lock time to 6 hours since the ENY disabler update.
