Kudos to Hitech and the HTC Team
« on: August 25, 2004, 11:45:24 AM »
I haven't looked through all the threads on this forum, for the obvious reason (okay, just in case it isn't obvious, due to the sheer volume of them,) to see if there was a similar thread, but I just wanted to say thanks to Hitech for creating first WB and now Aces High.  You've done a fantastic job of creating an addicting, immersive, amazingly fun game.
All aspects of the sim, from the flight model (IMO the best flight model of any sim to date) to the playbility rule.
Please, keep up the good work.

I meant 2 weeks as in the joke. Back when AH2 was coming out soon. Everyone kept asking when will it be out. And the common answer was 2 weeks. And in 3 weeks we would do this again.:D

OMG, HTC are worse than drug pushers with this stuff...  Here ya go buddy, 2 free weeks to get yourself aclimated and see if you like it.  When in reality 2 weeks is about how long it takes to start getting a few kills and enough to addict yourself.  Then they say, well the taste was free, but now you gots to pay.

BTW, I'm not addicted, I can quit whenever I want!

DENIAL!

We are all addicts!

Personally I have mine under control.
I pretty much plan my day around it.
Read the boards first, then go fly in main for a bit. Once I have my fix I can walk away for a while, have lunch, nap. Then either TA or back to main for a nother little zap.

Off to work at 5 in the evening. Come home, grab a bite, log into the TA or the CT to get my evening fix.

We are ALL addicts! ADMIT IT!

Ok some of us are worse than others.
Myself included. But at least I KNOW I'm an addict!

(Walks away muttering) didn't I tell ya dale is thinking all the time ...........legal drug........ no pushers...........huge market....................get s em young........................ .$%^^%^%@#2week trials!

Yeah, between the game and the bulletin board, AH qualifies as immersive in anybody's dictionary.

And vicey-versey Oz.  Often doing more reading and typing than flying.

Some of the issues get tedious but all in all Aces High remains a miracle game and light years away from those Air Warrior stick figure airplanes -- which still deserve veneration as the granddaddy of on-line combat flight sims.
