If history repeats itself...which it does, you can look to Warbirds for your answer.
They had a no icon arena for maybe a year. Average attendence was less than 8. While you might think it would be great, the truth is it would remain empty.
Kill shooter off you can look there too. With a small group where everyone knows each other it can work. Even with that it gets really ugly believe me. Kill shooter has a place. It might not be realistic, but without it here it would get REAL UGLY.
As far as nights go I don't think you'll get a handful to partake.
With no inflight radar as you suggest you'll end up with low numbers and no way to find a fight. Don't tell me that you'll get on the radio to find one either. THAT was also tried and the majority of times you'll get no help.
It's all been tried before. And in every case it has failed.
The CT here IS the place where some of your suggestions might be experimented with.
Because mulitple arenas has been tried before.
That didn't work either.
I know you want all that, but history proves it's not the way to go.
