Check out these input devices; they look to be the best I've ever seen.
 www.flight-link.com/rotohard/index.html

The setup shown is for helecopter but I am super interested in the floor mounted stick. Seems that a floor mounted stick would give the most precise control over the aircraft. Anybody think that this stick might be compatable with AH (wallet compatability is another issue)

Check it out and post your thoughts. Heck, I might just blow the wad and give myself an early Christmas gift.

You hardware gurus pontificate, I'm anxious to hear your feed-back.

There's also this:

didnt find the price on the stick.... hmm but would be nice to get every one that plays AH this stick... then they would stop stick stiring over night (youd break your kneecaps!) the stick looks to be all that I would think about. maybe possably the throtle. but dont know if it would be compatable with AH.

Yep, expensive. However, I'm building a cockpit, and am converting a CH ForceFx to a floor mount. Should be interesting when done. Curious if Aces stick forces will be as high as Warbirds, if so, then should work fairly well with the extension I'll be adding to the stick.

I'd settle for something less.

I'm so sick and tired of analog sticks and rudders.
On starting WB for example, routine is to keep hitting F12 every few minutes until the gamecard has warmed up.

Tired of replacing twitchy pots to.

This archaic joystick interface has got to go (the 4 axis, 4 buttons, eat CPU time by waiting for caps discharge thing).

I keep waiting for an all digital optic sensors USB setup, but so far no there's no digital rudders available.

Does it take Microsoft, CH and TM to agree on a new standard or what is the holdup ?

Would Hoffman Simpeds work with a USB adapter?

I bought the Gstick a few years back and the quality aint all that great. Sure it looks good but the pots slip and spike. Maybe new pots would have solved the problems I had. As a result I went back to CH products just because they work 100% of the time.
