Ever since the last patch my framerates have gone to hell and back and to hell again.
Logged in today and there was the big isles map. First thing i did was goto furball isle. flying along with 2 kills i keyed my mic and screen locks up....had to reboot. OK. logged back in and was over furball and keyed mic to talk and BAM! there it was again. rebooted and logged back in and this time was in a tiger and what happened? screen locks losing me perks.
now i know i dont have a big system but i was doing ok b4 the patch. not really any problems as far as crashing.
amd xp 1700+ 1.5 gig
128 ram ddr pc2100
geforce 2 mx 400 64 meg agp
muse gamesurround xl soundcard pci

since the patch i have tried a number of things. tried the omega drivers and no real change. tried the newest vidcard drivers. card and memory are overclocked using rivatuner. no spyware or viruses detected either. it was running fine last nightand havent changed a thing.
anyone know of anything i havent already tried?
