he was pretty spot-on when it comes to critiquing Dem campaign tactics.  I've been fairly disappointed with their performance so far (though not nearly as disappointed with Buh's performance as pres).

he was completely wrong on this point though-
" No one seriously believes Messrs. Ashcroft, Bush, Cheney and Rove are unpatriotic. "

I do, many do.  IMO you can't be a patriotic American and intentionally do as much damage to our country as Bush Cheney and Ashcroft have.

What campaign tactics?

Some 80% of Keery's camaign is "Reporting for Doody" and "Here is my band of brothers who I once accused of being war criminals worse than the hordes of ghengis Khan but now think are swell charcater witnesses to my glorious heroic service in Vietnam!" And "BTW please ignore my 19 years of shamefully pathetic service oin the Senate where I accompliesed nothing but managed to vote against almost every major weapons system for the defense of our nation - did I mention I won 3 purple hreats?"

The rest is simply promising everything under the sun thats appealing to the plarticular audience spoken to that hour.

You guys picked a crappy candidte with no record to run on except his vietnam service.  What did you think would happend with the baby boomer generation left leaning democratic party running a candidate more or less only on his service in the hated vietnam war...  It's a farce and moreover it's a shame you couldnt have fielded a better set of candidates at the start.  Dean, Mosely-Braun, Kuchinic, Sharpon, Edwards, the last weeks Republican Clark all those were a joke..

Wow....does this mean Kerry is more libral than france?

The french participated in the first gulf war.....Kerry voted against it?  That's a shocker.

Here's why kerry makes a poor canidate.

He's a war vetran....then a protester....now he's a pro war canidate....but didnt really mean to vote for the war......then he votes for the money to support the war....than votes against it......then he says we should pull some troops out of Korea and Europe....then he says its a bad idea......Then he says he'd pull the troops out iraq in 6 months......than he says we need to remain steadfast.

Meanwhile MOST of his base does not agree with him on MOST of these issues.

The other reason that the left has a problem with patriotism is they align themselves w/ communism socialism and terrorism.  Most good folks just cant relate to that and think its downright un-american.
