Joystick problem
« on: September 01, 2004, 01:01:16 AM »
I know MS Sidewinder FFb is no longer available and I will probably have to find a new joystick, but this is the problem with mine....

When in flight and I use the hat to look around,  1/2 the time it wont do anything..UNLESS I wiggle the wings. Then it snaps to that view. Its weird..probably just worn out, but why would it work by wiggling the wings?

something's gotta be falling into its proper place each time you rock the joystick right & left.

Most likely a broken wire coming up  the handle. You also might try pulling the knob off the hat and trim the hole a little larger to give the hat a little more travel.

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
