A lot of people have complained about certain aspects of AHII but, IMHO, one area that has has really improved is GVS. The terrain now with all the lumps and bumps and tunnels and trees has made gameplay much much better. I find myself in panzers now much more than I ever did in AHI.

There are a couple of maps that are really fun where there are "dedicated" tank areas, the current map, being one, some great tank battles take place there. Of course there always seems to be one country that decides to take over all the VHs there and ruin everyone's fun.

Now I know I will get flamed here with the usual "It's a FLIGHT sim" or "Why do you think it is called Aces High?" but I think a lot of people like the tank fights, which is borne out by the numbers I have seen in the tank areas lately. Anyway, I was wondering if it might be a good idea to have these areas so that the VHs cannot be captured. I'm sure a "coad" could be written that makes it so they are not figured into the reset numbers, keeping the tank areas open for those that enjoy them. It might also be a good idea to put these areas on other maps that are being transformed to AHII.

Just a thought.......

You got to admidt, that would save alot of complaining about capturing tank town bases.:)  But you will still get the same old complaints that everyone is in tank town and not trying to reset the map.:(  Its a no win situation but I like the idea :D :D
