1. Remove ch1 default from the Combat Arena
2. Make map transitions snap instead of slow motion panning.
3. Change the name of the CT to Historic Arena. People seem to get "Combat" confused with "Furballing". The DA is for Dualing, not the CT.
4. Is there a voxx volume control? I may have missed it.
5. Remove daily scoring from the CT. Post scores at the end of each months TOD. Remove public ranking system from the CT. Is it not only used for CV control? If you try to take command of a fleet and caint, it is obvious you dont have the rank to do it. It doesnt need to be published.
6. Empliment a time limit on entering text on channel 1 (if not removed). This would prevent constant single person chatter on ch1. If something needs to be explained, it can be done on a private ch.
7. Enable kill credit for friendly area ditching. Or, program a time limit for that type of ditch credit. There is nothing like shooting a airplane, rendering it unable to sustain flight, watching it ditch and not get credit for "putting it out of service". Are you getting a kill credit for killing the pilot or removing the aircaft form service? Well since you get credit when a pilot bails, I would have to assume that latter! Just because the plane ditches doesnt mean it can be airworthy again some day. Program a damage model into diching aircraft. If it is damaged beyond repair, credit the oposing pilot with a kill credit. Salt water ditches, KILL CREDIT. Gear up landing CREDIT etc. Airfield ditching, No Credit??. More times than none it could NOT or just WOULD NOT be reapired. However, most damaged aircraft in WWII were used for parts. "Parts" being the key word here!

yes.

under peferences, voice

the slider for "play volume" is what you hear from other people

the slider for "effect" is how much the plane sounds "duck" for the incomming voice

if you do not know the term "duck" it is where a sound is sort of muted for another, like a voice on an intercom that talks over the music normally playing. the music disappears while the voice talks.

in AH you can have the sounds go away totally, or not at all. it is a real "feel" setting.
I don't know what to put here yet.

1.  CT #'s and general radio traffic don't really justify it when you can easily squelch CH 1 - altho' I'd imagine it'd not be hard for HT to implement.

5. not worth the coding effort. no one is forced to look at score or compare themselves to the scorepotatos.

6. not worth the coding, you still have squelch available, either of the person or the channel.

7. plane ditching in friendly territory is theoretically recoverable, as is the pilot. Why should a kill be rewarded? Finish the job you started by not letting them escape.


8. CT is already timid enough.
