Revi16B gunsights too dark?!
« on: August 08, 2004, 05:14:33 PM »
Is there a reason why the Revi16B sight mounted on the new modelled Bf109G-6 and G-10 so dark?

The old AH1 model of Fw190D-9 and A-8 also uses essentially same Revi16B gunsight with two layers of glass reflector panel - but these planes have very clear sights with good visibility. Compared to the Fw190D-9 and A-8, the 109G-6 and G-10 glass is so dark that it almost feels like the historic, tinted sunblock layer is in use...

Is there any chance they can be cleared out for better visibility?

I think it's a bug; some of the FW gunsights were originally like that in AH2, but they were fixed.

Sorry for the punt. I know punting is gonna be viewed with a frown, but this seems like an issue easily addressed by adjusting opacity of the gunsight.

Maybe it's already on the to-do list.. but the dark reflector glass is really annoying!
