Just some thoughts... Yeah, I hate this ENY stuff, but here's my thoughts anyway...
I think the name for this ENY stuff is a misnomer... True, the objective why this was installed was to balance the sides, but so was the "Perk Multiplier". It's more a "Plane Set Limiter" rather than a "Side-Balancer". Can we name it "Plane Set Limiter"?
Secondly, with this "Plane Set Limiter", the "Perk Multiplier" now seems obselete! With the "Plane Set Limiter", the perk rides are no longer available at an inflated price. So, while I do earn perks at a lowered earnings because of the Perk Multiplier, this is offset by the fact that I fly a high ENY plane because of the "Plane Set Limiter". And because of the "Plane Set Limiter", I have no way of using my perks because the rides are not available anyway. Even if they are available, they are at a reduced price or at best the suggested retail price and not an inflated price, thereby, not giving me a chance to spend it... This, overall, will probably make me save my perks rather than spend it.
To me, this "Plane Set Limiter" and the "Perk Multiplier" does not seem to compliment each other, well, I guess they were not really designed to to begin with. IMHO, one of them is not really needed... (there are ongoing discussion on whether the "Plane Set Limiter" works or not, but we know for sure that the "Perk Multiplier" does not work by itself any more. It used to when it was first introduced... but not any more.)
Anyway, I wish there was something in the game that would make me spend my perk points. Betting my perks will be good... /.transferperks
