How well will that engine handle the boost and how much are you pushing?
What internal mods did you make? Pistons, compression, etc?
The engine was built to take boost. And lots of it. 8.0:1 compression pistions. The rotating assy like I said is all forged and built to take extreme punishment. The block as been filled with concrete around the cylinders effectively making it bomb proof. If something went wrong and the wastegates stayed closed under boost, it would hold together with out a problem. And the 35psi ratings of the turbos is no where near the range that this block should start coming apart. Did i mention this motor will see 7500 rpm? Not too shabby for 408 ci eh. Take the time to build it and build it right and it will do anything you want it to. I didnt want to be the exception of that rule so I cut no corners this time around. Right now the turbos are set at 15psi. But with a simple turn of a knob I will have it boosted to 21-23 PSI and the real fun begins.
I have been dreaming and playing around with some math in my head and have started looking into a fogger setup. A small 50 shot of nos just for the first 60ft to get the turbos spooled up quicker and in the boost.
This car is meant to go straight and fast. To compare it to a BMW or any of your other eruo cars is doing neither car the justice they deserve. Put your fastest BMW, Porche ect on the line against this car and it will be eaten for lunch. Put my car on a road track and I'd have a hard time cornering out of the pits. Straight and fast is all I care about.
