"What the hell is that wobble  ??"

That is an Xp-54, using a rear-pushing prop. It was said to be the best prop fighter design. unfortunately the jet age came into being before it could be of use.

I bet the new plane is the P-40 Warhawk  .

Nhhaaaaaaa Hangtime :-)
Don't think any of us Luftwaffe boys (any girls) start whining over the P51 H as long as we know that it saw action during the war (did it? just asking, don't wanna start a flame war).
besides, our TA152 is 2 Mph faster :-)

PS. All planes that saw action (even if very little) should be added, as perk or no perk.
It's up to the whiners to whine about them when we get them, will be fun to hear everybody "Dweeb cannon Luftwobble F***** 262" :-)

Take care all!

H model ponies were in full production and being deployed to bases in combat zones prior to wars end. 555 units delivered prior to VJ day. About twice as many of them than they ever made C-Hawgs.

Pyro has already indicated we'll see H model ponies as perk planes.. just a question of when they get introduced.

C hawg wasn't the only 4 20mm f4u. infact if I remember right alot of f4u1d's where equipted with the 4 20mms to stop kamakazi's theres also the f4u4 and f4u5n (think this was post WWII and used in korea) during the okinawa campiaghn they put bigger guns on planes and ships to help put kamakazi's down faster I think the p51H was desighned for operation olympic(?) (invasion of mainland Japan) for that exact perpose.

If it's a hog with 20mm it's either a Chog or a late model F4U-4 (after WWII).
