Filmed- Suspicious Wingless Flight
« on: September 07, 2004, 11:54:32 PM »
I didn't call the guy a cheat.  I won't  mention the name (unless it is in email to HTC).  I will report it as a BUG????

I do have it on film as well as at least one other pilot.  I guess the point here is to ask if anyone is aware of glitches that would cause the following.

1. La7  vulching field and shot removing his entire left wing, then loops turns gains alt and is able to maintain speed enough to avoid my Yak 9u from closing.

2.  La7 still missing a wing and in flight now for 45 seconds or more still able to maneuver and keep speed.

3.  La7 missing parts of tail, entire left wing -  now low lost both wings and continues to fly level flight and actually loose no speed at all.

4.   Eventually had to be TOTALLY dismantled piece by piece before it would stop normal flight BOOM!

Happen to me in AH1, but in two cases it was a P-38. The 38 was stripped of all but it's center fuselage, and wings up t o the engine nacells, which both appeared to be spouting oil and just about everything else.

I had an event like this myself where the roles were reversed. I was in a P-47 Vulching a field when I obviously experienced some bad lag. Everyone else disapeared and I flew on as though noghing was hte matter, depsite hearing pings left and right.
