partisan football is as stupid as partisan politics

"With six years in the NFL and no Superbowl titles, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has plenty of reasons to start delivering on his considerable hype — 98 million of them, to be exact.
"

Notice that suddenly manning is all hype and has never delivered.
You would think that he was drafted out of high school with that contract not the most sought after quarterback in the sport.
increadable.

It's all entertainment and media is part of the circus.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

When Peyton was in high school in New Orelans he would sometimes work out with the Saints. Several of the Saints players said that at the time Peyton was the best quarterback on the field.

(Yeah, I know it's the Saints, but still)

Oh, and the '97 Heisman was a travesty. A travesty I say!

Everyone who signs a big contract gets that treatment, it's a right of passage

Yeah what a loser.  He's washed up.  They better send him to the Raiders.  Just like those other washed-up retreads Plunkett, Rice, Gannon, etc.

That was great to see, the victory over Washington I remember well. I believe the first was the Eagles? Shoot, I think Art Shell and Gene Upshaw were still playing in the first one

Great rematch of the 2003 AFC championship game last night.  Right down to the wire...literally, on the 1 yard line.  Then, BANG, Manning sacked for a 30 yard loss!:rofl  FG kicker misses the kick for the tie.  Great game!

The pats have developed the habit of beating Manning. Habits are hard to break.
