Bishland=training arena
« on: September 09, 2004, 10:24:03 AM »
For my country, Bishland, ENY sistem is kind of useless, as long as we are training arena for rooks and nits.
Knits,rooks-- don't worry if sometimes you see higher bish #s, half of us are sleeping in GVs with MP3 player and AC,   drinking bier.
Our players are  driving tanks for hours  25 milles to enemy base without spawn point,  defend HQ in M8s.  Or sending "JOIN msg" until pss me off and accept them, i had 14 drunks in my C47.
We have most of the time 3-4 lazzy bumps in PT boats escorting our CVs  in open sea, sectors away from enemy base, first enemy dot on the radar and they disappear like cockroachs .

you forgot something else - at the first base you go to when you log on, the hillsides are littered by smoking noobs firing into the air in b17's, p51's, 109s etc from failed takeoff attempts.
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

personally when i see a rook loke that i try and contact on private VOX, and ask if they are new, and need help learning AH>

im no uber trainer, but in 45 min i can gte you using text / vox, and flying a simple fighter of your chosing

i have to say, it's depressing to me to see someone frustrated liek that not knowing what they are doing or what is going on.

i was fortunate enough to have a friend in the same city teach me in person how to do the basics.

the only frustrating part of training is if you do a decent job, and the new guy gets all excited about AH,,, they never stop asking questions LMAO. trying to dogfight and the new guy is begging for help is a conflict of interest LOL

Yea maybe. :D  The noobs and the,.........well let`s call them conciously challenged, doesn`t bother me half as bad as the numerous , self appointed, "Little Generals" we have. The amazing thing is when and where they show up. Usualy it is after the work and effort of many and things are entirely safe that they are drawn to an area like white on rice. Most of these. gentlemen have not got a clue about how the game even works or what the objectives are, but they come roaring in, get on vox and text and start spewing orders and issueing criticisms to those allready there and usualy the ones that got it safe enough for the wannabe Patton`s to show up in the first place.
Simply put, most of these guys couldn`t poor piss out of a boot with the directions wrote on the bottom in BIG, bold letters.
We had one of these Hitler clones roll in the other day to a base we had been working on for over an hour and finaly had a lid on things, troops on the way and a cap in place. Laurel rolled in with Hardy, (his dedicated sidekick), proceeded to go into God 6 mode circling above the field at about 10 to 11 K. I made two firing passes over the field and the got the message over vox in an ear exploding "Jackal don`t pork the field".. then , even at a louder whine.." Jackal quit porking the f*^%ing field" Ignoring the crack house escapee, I went about my business, making another firing pass with cannons. Then Hardy,(the trusty sidekick) joined in with "Jackal, are you deaf MFer?" Well L`il General kicked in a " No, he hears you, he just don`t give a f#@k. They are trying to add a point to their score. They don`t give a f34k" It went on and on and I didn`t bother to take the time to explain to his majesty and friend that if he would get off his safe perch and come down to earth that he might notice the back to back Panzers sitting in the doorways of the hangar I was strafing. Both of which, at this time had smoking turrets.
  Gotta luv it. :)

Lordy, I'm almost tempted to fly Bish for a while just to torture these generals on vox and give you guys something to laugh about:

DoK: General, permission to drop 1000 pounders on the FH's.
General: NO! You'll pork the field!
DoK: Oh ... what about 500 pounders?
General: NO! You'll pork the field. Listen to ME, damnit!
DoK: Oh ... what about 250 pounders?
General: NO! NO! NO! Don't bomb the hangars anymore.
DoK: Oh ... OK.
DoK: Can I bomb them now?
General: NO! Don't bomb anything!
DoK: What about now?
General: NO!
DoK: So you don't want me to bomb anything?
General: NO! Are you st00pid or what?
DoK: What?
General: Just stay off VOX so I can run this battle!
DoK: So bombing is out, then?
General: Yes.
DoK: Can Yak's carry 1000 pounders?
General: No.
DoK: Oh ... I guess I couldn't have bombed anyway then since I'm in a La-7.
General: WHAT!
DoK: Hey ... enemy paratroopers are landing ... can I shoot them?
General: Those are OUR troops! Leave them alone.
DoK: Rolling in with rockets to kill the enemy troops!
General: NO! NO! NO!
DoK: But you said I couldn't bomb them.

... hehe ... I could do that for hours ...
