Pit bulls and their owners suck.

A friend of the Family just had a pair of pits jump the 6 foot fence from their neighbors into their yard. They killed the family rotwieler. It took 3 guys one beating the of them beating the pits with a 2by4 to get them off the other dog.  

This Rotty was a sweat heart, a very nice dog, it cost them 1000 bucks at the vet before it died. The neighbor only had “that’s a shame” to say when he was told what happened and how much it cost.

These dogs also just killed a neighbor’s cat while the scum sucking owners mother walked them.

My friend has a 2 year old daughter, I am not sure what they are going to do, but I think they need to get the SPCA in there before something like a kid is killed.

I would have killed both dogs, in my yard(use of a gun on dangerous animals, even in city limits is legal I am fairly sure).  It is to late for that now for them though. Those animals lurk right next door, waiting to eat their two other dogs, or a kid.

I am not sure this is a breed problem, the owner sounds like the typical pit owner though…

Will the SPCA do anything if they find out the dogs killed two other animals?

Rat poison + hamburger.  Or, he could call the cops and animal control and follow up with a trip to small claims court if the neighbor doesn't want to pay for the vet bills.

Since they have to live next to this scum bag they may be worried about what he will do if they mess with him. I have never met the guy.

Gt I know in So Cal they had many instances where Pits had done stuff like this and they were considered a threat so they were put down.  

I had a chow living next to me corner me at my front door and wouldn't let me move.  I was half tempted to pop it until I found out she was a female and wanting to get to my two new born male Dobermans.  Guess her motherly instinct had kicked in or something.  She's fairly sweet now though.

if they left their yard to kill, especially since they entered another yard as well, you should have no problem having them put down.

what would be cool is if they could ban those owners from owning another dog.

SPCA will do nothing, call your local Police Department Animal Control Division.
