Wrong!

Reagan did care, he squashed  "The Prevention of Genocide Act" in the House and American threaten to veto any UN sanctions in a subcommittee. He also gave Saddam another billion in credit a few months after Halabja, cuz trade between Saddam and the US was at an all time high during the Anfal Campaign.

When uncle saddam was attacking and killing hundreds of thousands of Iranians he was my (useful) friend.  I knew even then that he was a bad guy but thats just how this funny little world works.

The time finally came to take him out of the picture and thats precisely what happened.
