I JUST DONT GET IT

I for one don't understand the anger over the changes taking place. Last time I checked the majority of who fly this GAME are grown men. Why is it that we cry and bicker over changes that the owner thinks is best? I love the P51 and with an ENY of 6 its one of the first to be disabled. So one day I upped the f4u and found it to be just as good just a tad slower.

I dont understand how a GAME could upset so many people. I think we have far more issues concerning the gameyness that is running amuck in our community. So what rooks had numbers which by the way wasnt just on Sundays or I dont think HTC would have felt a need to make a change. All the chat about them listening to the whiners is just plain dumb. I guess HTC didnt do research on the matter and blindly implemented the change. Come on give them some credit. He might not be able to spell but he isnt stupid.

So what players fly late war birds. Spits, 51's, la7's, doras, N1ks all have their weaknesses, exploit them. If you find yourself surrounded by a bunch of gamey players find another fight or just show them how gamey they are and kill them.

The bottom line is this. We are grown men playing a GAME that will cease to be fun when you forget that it is a GAME.

For me, I can't stand it when the game gets regulated by forcing one group of players ( the country with numbers) to have less choices in the game, in order to coerce them into changing countries.

I havent played since the ENY feature, so I'm not going to say much other than this:

The first time I log on and find I have to change countries just to fly a stinking p-51d, which is the plane I have flown since begining AH, and perhapse leave my squadmates, is the day that I'm not having fun anymore.

I mean, what's so dangerous about a p-51? Especially a guy like me who sucks.

I'm not going to play musical countries just to fly a "normal" plane-set. If I find that the plane I like is denied or disabled in my country, then I'm going to log off, send HTC a letter and cancel my account. Pretty much that simple.

I won't sit on this BBS and ***** about it.

Why not fly a B-Pony instead? Ironically it is a better fighter than the D.

I have complained...but...I'm of the opinion anymore...I Could care less. Object of the game to me is shoot someone in the air before they shoot me. Who wins the war means jack doodly to me. And I am not bombing nothing anymore. Not ONE thing.  If my plane isn't available to fly...I can go spend more time with my wife. Spend time with my Mom who is ill. Go hit Golf Balls and work on my Golf Game. Go play golf. Watch Football. Watch Sports Center. Watch the golf channel. Wash my Vehicle. Mow the yard. Sit and watch the birds in my birdbath. Watch a DVD. Eat. Several other things to do as well.

But this game...I am NOT gonna worry about as far as the game goes. ONLY thing in AHII that remotley concerns me is my Squad. They are my friends and they are what keeps me here. Along with other friends out side of the squad.

AHII isn't life. It isn't anything other than a game. An intense game...but a game none the less.
