On June 22, 1944 the long awaited Russian Summer Offensive began. In the north, the Russian Karelian Front facing Finland, began its attack, supported by the 3rd, 2nd and 1st Baltic Fronts, which faced the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Luthuania. This event seeks to recreate some of the heavy fighting as the hard pressed German and Finnish units attempt to slow the Soviet Juggernaut.

-Fighter 10pts
-2 engine AC 15pts
-Targets 200pts

Arena Settings:

- Fuel 1.5

- Fighter and Bomber warning range 42,000 (about 8 miles)
- Tower range set to 42,000 (for display only to match the above setting)
- Haze/fog full visability (17 miles)
- Radar off
- Friendly collisions off
- Killshooter off
- Time: 12:00 Noon
- Wind set to 10mph from the NW

Designer Notes:
-The axis will have a more defensive role in this setup than the allies, although both sides will have targets to attack.

CM Notes:
-Set time to 12:00 Noon, move all task groups out of the gameplay area.

This going to be 3 sided or just 2?  Last time something like this was ran it was 3 sided with 2 co-operating against the 3rd, but the problem was field ack killed or damaged a number of "friendlies" that were assigned protection duties on bases not belonging to their chess piece.

We would like allied, and should have 11-15.  Banshee6 will be running our squad for all three frames, since I am currently between airfields, as it were.  I will get his email address on the special events page ASAP, but I will be able to forward the orders and such to the BoPs.
