It appears to be a service that assists in finding research on the internet. At least they got the name from the same place I did: the Ancient Egyptian complex at Karnak.

EDIT: On further review, it seems to be a search engine that is supposed to produce focused, good results. No bad links or junk pages.

LOL....I think that has something to do with softball equipment.

Hmmm...well I get nothing with sling.net and sling .com....the domains are both registered, but there is nothing on the page. However, www.sling.org will lead you to a site that will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about baby slings and stuff like that. Great.
