Huh?
« on: September 13, 2004, 11:51:46 AM »
What is the reasoning behind the following argument:

1. I'm quitting because of ENY.
2. I want to fly my fav plane at all times.
3. It's the responsibility of the players to move around to balance sides, not the game's responsibility. The players have handled this before.
4. I refuse to switch sides to fly my fav plane.

Unrelated but, sorry about last night.  Was not talking about you.  I know the plane was still flying.

That's how I see it. People who had a large advantage in the game and want to keep it. The ENY system threw a wrench into their little, pathetic, narrow minded, teenaged lives.

412th FS flies P-51Ds. We LIKE to fly for Rooks. However, we switch countries on Sunday so we can fly the P-51D. Most of time we fly them against the Rooks because that's the biggest fight. We Don't want numerical superiority which is why 90% of the time, we find the biggest RED sector bar with the least amount of friendlies.

Also, don't expect to see us defending a friendly field... most times we are jumping the enemy where they are attacking from. It's easier to kill more thatg way.

But, that's not an argument!

An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition...

WTG Midnight!

A salute to you and your squadron sir!

That's exactly what's supposed to happen.

You want to fly the 51 and you switched to get it.

I hope more people/squads follow your example on a more frequent basis.

It's how the ENY thing is supposed to work.

Very well done sir!

Funny how there are so many P51D squadrons in this game, and so few Spit1a or 109E squadrons. Even funnier how membership of such a mustang squadron has people crying "we HAVE to have the P51D - we fly historical!"...

Nothing at all to do with the mustang's performance... ;):aok

No worries, I wasn't bummed or anything. I just heard you call it out and then noticed you were right there by me, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't the offending party or offer my apologies if I was! Duchess was on the desktop and I was flying on the laptop, it skips around some in those low level furballs around a smoky base. It'll freeze and then jump a few screens ahead and I never really know what happened in the meantime.
One of my friends has a computer store, he's offered to build me a cheap gamer for $ 400 so I can get off that laptop when Duchess wants to fly too, but I can't find a place to put it. It would be tough to sit on the bed with the desktop and monitor on the tv tray.  Gonna have to do something though.

$400?  I may have to order one too. Tell me about skipping.  Every time I fire the guns I don't know if I will hit the target or if I will lock up for a couple of seconds.  Makes the game more intence I guess, lol

Hmm... The 412th is NOT historical. We fly the P-51D because it is Bad Ass.

Funny thing is, I've been flying the P-51D since AWIII and the early AH days, when the Delta was not seen so often and was considered an "easy" kill except if it "ran". Now we've got all these people complaining that it needs to be perked because it's too "Uber". When exactly did this transisition happen?

Personnally, I'd like to see the P-51D stats in AH by pilot. I'm thinking it's a small percentage of pilots that get the majority of the kills in it.

I can't hit anything with it myself.
