Provided we get the map in time we will have FinRus on the actual FinRus map. If not then we will have to make do with one of the other maps.

Also the setup will change a little early depending on the storm that is supposed to be coming through my area. I will try my best to get it up before I loose power at home.

Alright!

Sure hope it is a 1943 setup.  La5, Yak vs FW-190A Bf109G is a great fight!

I have send (in this morning) the updated FinRus files to Skuzzy and he said yesterday that he can built the map today or tomorrow (Friday). So I think in the next week we can have good Finland/Germany vs Russia fights!:aok

I try to contact Skuzzy immediately!;)

There is the updated FinRus MOTD and planes setup, if it helps the CT Staff:

FINRUS SETUP

Here is also Finrus Clipboard map:

FINRUS CBM

Skuzzy said he uploads the map both SEA and CT servers as soon as he has built it!

Whoa, now!!!!

"Hurricane  Mk II C (actually Mk II B)"

There is a VAST difference between MkIIb and MkIIc!!!!!!!!!!!

MkIIb is MUCH close to the MkI than the MkIIc!!

12x .303s will in no way compare to the raw killing power of 4x20mm. And as I recall the IIb had a different engine than the IIc (but I may be wrong).

I can only see this as substituting the Tempest for the P40, in terms of firepower.

Maybe you take FM2 (as Brewster) away from 1944 setup (if you run it), because we don't have anymore Finnish skin to it and it was not so necessary plane in 1944: most of Finnish pilots flew with Bf 109 G2 or G6 against Soviet's thousands of aircrafts.

We are still waiting the Brewster and Curtiss Hawk 75A to AH II. Our altogether 44 Brewsters was not a big amount planes, but it was one of the most famous WW II plane in the hands of Finnish pilots during 1941 - 1943 as you all know.¨

Also the Curtiss Hawk 75A is a "must" plane in HTC's near future new 3D models: in addition to Finland it was important fighter in France 1940 (Finnish got replacements from those German's war booty Hawk's... lol) and in the early Pacific Ocean battles, too!

Skuzzy and Mr. HiTech are currently working with the FinRus update and Skuzzy just informed me when I asked what is the status of the map:

"It will be a couple more hours kanttori."

So we must be patient and wait a while... If Skuzzy informs me that there are problems with the updating, I write immediately here. But I know he is a master with the terrain problems so I am not worried with this delay... :aok
