Just remover the inscriptions and you guys have the way I see you   It's a mod spit gunsight, I like them light, the center dot is very small so I can see the plane good when coming from dead 6. No other aids, that's probably why I suck at gunning.
Dat jugs bro.

I didn't realize that many people were gaming the vertical viewpoint movement.

I don't see it as a gaming thing, there are some drawbacks. Seems your aim goes a little off when you do this, especially at over convergence ranges. With normal sights I can hit out to d600, with the modified one I can hit out to 350-400. I sacrifice a bit of range for about 1 cm of extra vision.

Your mileage may vary however. unfortunately, I haven't found an A8 sight I've found to be good, other than Kirin's.

I use whatever site is historically correct and available for the plane.

<cough> StSanta, is that an historically correct gunsight????

Modified ReVi sight - first marker for rockets, second for bombs...

Funked, I wonder how many people game the adjustable perfect 6 view game (e.g. in Hogs) or how many allied pilots game the digital ammo counter game...

The sight system we have in AH isn't realistic anyway - in RL you could move the seat up and down while still having a perfect view through the sight - in AH we have to manually correct the sight to still hit at convergence...

Hey, we taller people just have the edge over the dwarfier ones...

Tac, practise dive bombing on the threshold of the runway to get an idea where to aim - modify gunsight and do it again and again and again...   somewhen you get the perfect mark for your bombing style...

I pretty much use the deathdot. I think it pays to check it in each plane you fly though. (I have been experimenting with a bomb dot as well...but no working on it too hard.)

For example, my P-51 dot is perfect at 300 plus or minus 50 yards or so. I used the same one in the zeke and couldn't hit doodah at 300.

So, I checked the dot at 300 on the offline drones for each plane I'm likely to fly. (Maybe 5-6 planes). I found I had to do a little tweaking on height for each one to be a truly happy camper.

YMMV.
