Name: Robert W. Tippin

Callsign: Blammo

Occupation: Software Engineer

DOB: 17 JUL 1964

Nationality: Born and raised in the USA

Marrital status: Happily married for just shy of 10 years to the best woman I have ever known

Interests: History, Science Fiction, War Games, Flight Sims, the Bible, Classical Music, Literature (but not snooty stuff).

Family:  Mom and Dad, still alive.  Sister, who is two years older and lives in Kentucky.  Brother, who is 6 years older and lives in Florida.  My immediate family is my wife, Stacey, my son (age 4 almost 5) David, and my daughter Jessica (2 years old)

Education and CPU speed:  Yes and quite fast enough

Bad habits: Taking myself (and others) to seriously.  Procrastination.

Good habits:  I am a good listener.  I don't give up on things that are important.  I am loyal.  I love truth.

Worst injury: Broke my ankle/heel the second day of Jump School at Fort Benning, Georgia.  Rather than be recycled I spent the next three weeks swallowing pain pills 4 at a time (every few hours) and keeping my foot tightly wrapped.  I reported to Fort Bragg not able to walk very well, but I had my Jump Wings :aok

Stupidest injury: Broke my leg at a church youth service while playing a game.

Amibitions:  To have enough money and little enough debt, to spend time with my family focusing on the important things.

Regrets:  Wasting so much of my youth, time and money on fruitless efforts.  Chasing the wrong girls instead of waiting for the right woman.  Taking to long to figure out that growing up didn't mean I had to stop having fun.  Going along with that,  that I took so long to figure out that having fun doesn't mean the things everyone thinks it does.

Favorite AH ride:  No single favorite.  I think it really depends on what I am going to be doing.

Unit organization is too hard in the ground forces...Someone askes your unit in the Navy..you just say USS ******** sometimes you can  give your division...

Ex: OI Division USS SPRUANCE(DD-963)

or for a shore command:

FCTCLANT DAM NECK, VA , Code N733

Name: John/ Jay if I know you well enough.

Callsign: BlueJ

occupation:School

DOB: December 3rd 1987

Nationality: Proud to be American

Marital status: girlfriend

Interests: History of course. U.S. Military. European Customs (reason I ask so man dumb questions about anyone not from U.S. or Canada.) FISHING! United States Navel Sea Cadet Corp.

Bad habits: Talkn to self on occasion. (get in less arguments that way)

Good habits: Love to work, learn, and read.

Worst injury: My dad had a full grown greyhound at his house. I never liked this dog ( I love dogs). It was always alittle weird, probally had to do with being raised to chase rabits not be a house pet. Anyways, one day ( Iwas about 9 years old) I was watching all 4 channels we had on antenna while sitting next to the dog. The dog was getting quite old now and we kept our distance. It was laying next to me and woke up and decided to bark at me. It barked once and then bite me. Its lower left eye tooth got me about a 1/4 inch above my right eye, while the 2 of its top left jaw ripped me open at the hairline and alittle farther back in the hair. Went to hospitol and got about 30 stiches. After waiting in hospitol for about 30 minutes for the plastic surgeon to sew me up( he was at golf course) He said I was quite lucky I didnt lose my eye. My dad kept the dog after this event. Vet said it was caused by seisures the dog was having as it was getting older. The dog died about 2 years ago and my step mom expected me to be sorry for it. Thats another story tho.

Stupidest injury: Running backwards at football practice, fell down. I tried to break my fall and broke my right arm in about 4 places. Made a cool noise tho.

Ambitions: U.S. Navy. Go to a Engineering college for a masters degree. Get a good job like my uncle. Have a nice family and settle down to play with plenty of outdoor "toys" and play online games.

Regrets: Not speaking up enough.

Favorite AH ride: B17

Favorite author: Im gona say Stephen King because all the history books I read the author only writes one book. Stephen Ambrose is pretty good.
