Sorry, I just had to do this. Just got done browsing the BB, and reading the fixes for the new patch. 2 Points must be made:

1) Aces High kicks much prettythang.
2) HTC works their butts off.

A lot of people have this or that problem with AH, but damn, you have to give it to the HTC gang. First 1.05 comes out. Few days later a patch. Still problems? Another patch. These guys must be working 16 hours a day. And even if they arent, you cant say they are not addressing issues at an extremely fast rate. Oh yea, and 1.06 is just about done. But...1.05....just came out!?!? <S> HTC

For those of you who think that so many patches indicates a faulty game, remind yourself that this is an online sim, and will always be changing and evolving, which means patches. I had a blast when 1.05 came out even with the bugs! "A beta version is not worth 30 bucks a month." Jeez how many times did i read that? And have those problems been fixed? Yup, and in less than a month, so quit yer squeakin! You did not pay 30 bucks for a beta!

Just read this on the simhq website, and i think it makes a great point. (I know this is posted throughout the BB, but i feel it deserves yet another posting       )

From the review:
Aces High
Boy, is this a tough category to decide. The proverbial new kid on the block, Aces High, has attracted a lot of attention for its flight model, looks, and for being the first out of the gates with a true air / land / sea battle. The recently released v105 includes naval vessels into an arena already brimming with fighters, bombers, tanks, and land vehicles. That component is a big factor in our decision, but so is the seemingly endless line of support HiTech Creations has put out for their product. These guys have just been working their tails off in 2000, putting out patches and upgrades seemingly as fast as their community asks for them. We wish there were more special events at Aces High...that part of the game still hasn't seen its full potential. We also wish there were more flexible payment options. However, other than those details, we like it....a lot. if you want to see a company going 120% for its customers and a product that has come a long ways in a short time, check out Aces High. It's simply great.

<S> to HTC!!!!!!!!!!

Could not agree more!

Tread, I noticed you are in Northridge. Was down there for 2 years. Was about a mile from the epicenter in the Northridge quake. Now I am up in the Sierra Nevadas.  Lots of thick granite to keep things steady.
