Hey guys, My mom went and bought an 04 Xterra last week and is going to pick it up tomorrow.

It is the Mid model if i recall correctly (only thing it doesnt have is leather seats and the leather wrapped wheel)

4 Speed auto too.

Only dealer options are a set of 16 inch american racing polished aluminum wheels with terrible Hankooks. (the hard compound touring radials)

Do either of you (or others) have links to after-market equipment that might suite this vehicle?

Her birthday is coming up late November and my brother and I are thinking a brush bar and light covers (rear)..perhaps a rear winch unit (mom is crazy for ice fishing in 1 foot plus of snow)

Any tire recomendations that would support chains would also be welcome.

Thx.

Sounds like an XE model. Hmmm... Lots of stuff here:

http://xterraparts.com

Also... Calmini has some cool stuff:

http://purenissan.com/xterra.htm

I bought rock sliders from Shrockworks:

http://www.shrockworks.com/nisbars.htm

Also... brush bars are ghey. They'll cause more damage than they're worth. As for tires, lots of owners have BFG All-Terrain AT. I have Bridgestone Desert Dueler Revo. The stock tires are generally crap on the later models from what I hear.

Last... Lots of answers at http://xterraownersclub.com. Ian (XOC) is a bit of a dick, but there are some incredibly knowledgeable members.
