I had a nightmare
« on: September 21, 2004, 07:14:34 AM »
I actually had a nightmare last night that I was in flight and suddenly realised I was in a dwee  I mean Spitfire. Just then I saw some enemy Cons and rather then shoot anyone down or get shot down myself and thus let anyone know I was in a dwee I mean Spitfire I turned around, RTB'ed, and promptly landed.
LMAO

did you go to bed immediately after playing AH.  I often have dreams about dogfighting after playing AH late into the night. Often they are those dream where you can't move your body quickly, and everything is in slow motion. also for some reason i'm always turning into an enemy but can never gain enough angles for a shot. I always wake up before i get shot down though.

or perhaps your subconcious is telling you that you're a spit dweeb at heart. who knows.

Aah... ze classic case of Merlin envy.  Ze subject constantly represses his basic need to fly a Spitfire during the day but his subconscious mind takes over during the sleep process.  Unfortunately, this repression, if allowed to continue unchecked, will often lead to ze much worse aflliction... Lavochkin-Sevenism.  Come out of ze closet Drediock, let the Spit pilot come out before something worse happens.

LMAO unlikely.

I've always hated spits.Even back in AW days. Too easy. They're the easy mode of easy mode.

Flown La7's, good base defence plane if you can get off the ground without being vulched.

Outside of that I dont need an La7s  Since I fly Fws most of the time these days

saying a spitfire doesnt stay and fight is one thing. very untrue, but your point of view no less.

but slagging off a spitfire for 'RTB' tendancies is a joke considering you fly a 190 most of the time.

you're faster than almost anything else. higher. better armed. and lets face it, if you want out of a fight, all you have to do is hit the WEP and you're clear.

i find this degradation  of spits a joke considering your plane of choice.

quite cowardly infact.

other than that i like ya,

batfink
