ACID you head-on Spit Dweeb!

AH is $14.95 lighter this month because of you!

I'm kidding. But you did ruin my night. Of course, it was my own fault.

I log in for the first time in ages last night, thinking, maybe if I get a good fight, I'll get into it again.

So I up my F6F and engage a low spit...I'm dumb enough to fall for the old rope and get HO'd.

A few things I learned last night.

1) I Suck
2) People who suck and like to fly the less capable airplanes may as well just give away kills. Just sit on the runway, set your plane on fire and save the time.
3) I'm still bored
4) The MA numbers seem to have fallen (Just over 300 at 9:30 EST)
5) ACID Shoots you in the face

So I have a few possible solutions:
1) Suck less. Meaning log alot more flight time and practice more
2) Fly the LA-7, Spit, Pony, etc. so I will have an airplane advantage to make up for my meager skills
3) Go cut ACID's phone line.

I really hate to give up my hellcat but with real life limiting my time in AH, I simply cannot practive as much as other guys and let's face it, it sucks to lose all the time!

I feel stooopid each time I fall for a HO... why do I feel stoopid? who do I blame? My self because it was me that fell for it...

I dont blame anyone for going HO on me because I cant hit well at all in HOs... But I do know how to evade them but I just dont do it.. I get suckerd into wanting to get the kill shot.. I get greedy...

I know all to well that I should go under his nose.. force him to push neg G.. give it a slight barrell roll so Im harder to hit.. then just before he passes either to pull upp into a loop and come back ontop of him or if my speed is low, I have the alt and he is comming in very steap do a split s to get right on his tail...

I know it but I suck and dont do it...

I beat my self over the head every single freeeeekin time I fall for a HO...

Hellcat a lesser plane? Only real handicap is level top speed.  
As a last resort, you could change your fighting style a bit, it does accelerate like a rock in the vert, maybe in shallow dives too.
I can handle all but the better N1Ks, and spit9s to a little lesser degree, with it, it's no slouch if you limit mistakes.

So yeah, suck less don't give up your plane.

LOL, sorry Muck, I hate HO's too, at least it was in the vertical though. If I remember correctly you were at the top and about to stall and I came down without much speed, got my shot off and we collided on my FE. I do know how ya feel Muck and I'm not normally a spit dweeb if you check my stuff. Just felt like a dweeb at the time.

You know, I was pissed until I bailed and it said "ACID shot you down".

Then I realized I was dead anyway so I did not feel as bad about falling for the rope.

I was surprised to see you in a Spit, though.

Anyway, . I won't fall for that again.

Damnit SOB, keep it on the down low... I'm on a campaign to subvert the usage of the F6F thus raising it's ENY value as a result I can horde and vulch to my hearts content in my favorite plane.

*ahem*  It's not a HO if it's in the vertical and comes on the tail end of a successful "ROPE" maneuver.  You don't need to feel guilty about this one.
