Problem with Maps
« on: September 20, 2004, 04:22:25 PM »
I have noticed a problem with Maps.  If I select a map view of say an airfield small or large, it does not matter, nor does it really matter what map I select , when I return to Normal World the map is zoomed all the way out and can not be changed.  The map can not be used, you can not zoom in or clink on any part of it.

Traveler use insert and delete to zoom in and out of your map.  After viewing a field map it will go to full zoom out.  You need to zoom back in.  Hope this helps.

normal map after viewing clipboard map

Wouldn't it be great if the 'normal' map returned as set prior to viewing a clipboard map?

Is it possible?

1. Set normal map to desired zoom and level of view.
2. Use clipboard map to find specific target.
3. Return to 'normal world' map and instead of being zoomed all the way out, it returns set the way you had it in step 1.

Also, after hitting Insert to start zooming in, you can click and drag the map to then zoom in on any location, even if it is the opposite side of the map to your current location.  :)
