Coming this Friday in the Combat Theater
« on: September 22, 2004, 12:38:52 PM »
A setup by Fork. He writes:

Setup for Friday: Operation Dragoon

Over ninety-four thousand troops and eleven thousand vehicles were landed on the first day. They met little resistance from German forces as they moved inland, since many enemy troops had been diverted to fight the Allied forces in Northern France after Operation Overlord.

Tiger

Arena Settings
- Dar Historical
- Fuel 1.0 <-
- Downtimes 30 minutes
- all AAA .7
- 15 troops to capture an airfield

Setup Notes
I've limited each side to three fighters (? - A.G.) (P-38L/P-51D/P-47D-11 vs Bf 109G-10/FW-190A8/FW-190D9) and one primary Jabo (P-47D-25 and Fw 190F-8). Although the P-51D and P-38 have heavy Jabo capabilities, their use for this campaign was a combination of bomber escort and CAS for ground forces. Most P-38's and P-51D will have little time to Jabo considering the Dora and G-10 is in the arena. The Me 262 will be perked heavily to avoid over-use. I am setting up the BOB map for a southern attack to simulate the northern push into France.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK ... to summarize ...
Uber buffs and uber fighters. Limited 262s (perked) P-51D, P-38, P-47, Dora, G-10.
No eny limiter.
Come, enjoy, immerse. Lead others to follow your example - both in going there and in trying something less gamey than the MA (it's what we make it).
Tally-fuggin-ho.
Post in Fork's thread in the CT. There's a chance you may ... may ... get him to add it. Been known to happen ... on rare occasion. :D
Downtime 30 minutes means anything but a successful landing and you're out for 30 minutes?
No.
It means buildings won't pop up for 30 mins.
