Hmmm... yeah, it's rather silly, but it's a fun read. The Onion (insert link here) has a page dedicated to the 2004 election.

Or download Firefox.  Then you just highlight click "open link in new tab".

Firefox has an extension.  You highlight a url, rightclick, then select "open selected url in a new tab" (or new window) and it will open the link.

Firefox is da bomb.

Sweet, I actually got a slightly different extention called Linkification.  It just makes any non-tagged url into a link automatically.  Added mouse gestures and updated to the latest version of Firefox while I was at it...man this is nice!

Still unsing an older version.
You haveta uninstall the previous version first or can you just update it?
Dont wanna loose all my bookmarks.

But yes Firefox is the best

You have to remove the old version.  That's why I haven't updated lately.

I wouldn't trust it to keep your bookmarks, but you can save them - should be in Documents & Settings/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/blah blah

You'll find a bookmark.html in there...just open it up and compare it to your actual bookmarks just to make sure it's the right one.

I didn't have any problems though, just downloaded and installed the new version - and it didn't delete my bookmarks like when I updated from 0.8 to 0.9.  I didn't remove the old version before installing the new.

You need to uncheck
"Automatically parse URLs: automatically adds http:// and around internet addresses"
below the text input area, above the rest of the options, "email notification", "disable smilies" etc.

I have just updated Firefox the last 3 or 4 times without uninstalling the previous.. Hasnt given me any problems.
