identifying friendly aircraft types

I know we can currently use alt-I to change view settings, mostly to see what planes the friendlies around us are flying.

Could we have a button we could press and hold (like the tab key) that would allow us to view them without having to cycle through all the other settings?

kewl Idea there, Delirium, I always seem to get it on the wrong Alt-I key after switching the icon display......

Even if I have it programmed to a stick button

a great idea. i am always cycling through the icon settings, because i like to know what a friendlies aircraft is going to be capable of.
