Right now I'm looking at the system I posted above but with an Athlon 64 3200+ & Asus K8N.
I want to be out the door about $700 to $800.
I just built a system over Labor Day using the new MSI K8N NEO FSR mobo (Nvidia NForce 3 Gb chipset), Athlon 64 3200, and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.
All these items were on sale at Fry's :
MSI K8N NEO + Athlon 64 3200 combo package = $269
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro = $199.
2 x 512 PC 3200 Corsair Value Ram = $90 each = $180
SB Audigy $39.
Antec case SX835II w/350 watt PS = $69 (on rebate)
Extra Fans for case 3@ $10 = $30
Total: $786
This system is super fast. The Antec case is incredible, it's the best built case I've ever used or even seen. Of course it weighs a ton, so you won't be moving it very much. It's built like a tank!
