Ok..How many would like this?

AH film recorder is always on...If you select "don't enable film" it records last 5 minutes of flight(and saves it to film folder)...U get shot down and U get prompted to save it when you hit tower.(so you can always see replay of how you got shot down if U want)

If you "enable film" it works like we have it now.

I know it's NFL instant replay season,..But what do you guys think?

Interesting idea.  I reckon that since the current film record causes no overhead, neither would this.  I think that it would be good to have a way to disable the "instant replay" feature as well, though.

I'd settle for simply being prompted to rename my film once I land/crash/die.  Pain in the butt to go back and do it later.

Here here.  Need a prompt with a save as or delete option.  Its currently very cubersome to wade through all the films you really didnt want to save to find the one that you did want.

I prefer SirLoin's idea because it would eliminate all those time when I've thought, "DAMN, if only I had my guncam rolling!!!"

Nice idea, SirLoin.

It would help ensure that there is evidence against the *cough* ch33t3rs, too.
