Gotta love those groundcrews!
« on: January 10, 2001, 06:56:00 AM »
Last night I barely made it back to the carrier with a shot-up Hellcat, and on landing it became clear that one of the main gears was gone, as I went sliding down the deck, and the prop chewed big chunks out of the deck.

I eventually stopped, smoking and minus a wingtip or two, and guess what I see at the bottom of my screen... the reloading/refueling message. I think our ground crews are a bit overzealous, but it got a chuckle out of me  .

Yep, MAG-33 has some of the best ground crews in Aces High, just take a look at this dedication as VMF-111 get prepped for another sortie:

That's a really nice shot Ripsnort!  Good job to the crews getting them lined up so well.

Is it immoral to strafe the enemy ground crew.

Hell man! Stop your whimpering! Chin up and all of that. It will still fly you just have to work a little at it. Damn it man even the ground crew can see that!

"Mr. Scott, why aren't those wing tips repaired yet!"

Or better yet, "Damn it Jim, I'm a pilot not a magician!"

I knew that the picture Jimbear snapped would not pass without one C-Hog whiner chiming in...

I knew that my post would not pass without one C-Hoger chiming in...

I just meant to say that when u 6 airplane, covering each other as squadmates, the Chog can be avoided. But it's arena representative, 5/1 C/D ratio   Everybody chooses his fun/pride, no biggie.
