Map room placement TE2

I need to add a map room for each field...  and it seems easy enough to do, but it always places the map room in the center of the grid.. Anyway around this? or can I just edit the .oba before building the map and place the coordinates I want in there?

When you add the maproom to an Airfield it will default to the center of the runway:mad:
The way I fix this is to select the move option and drag the maproom off the runway into the grassy area to the right of center;)
When you finish the drag, it will look as if the maproom snaps back to the center of the runway.:confused:
This is because there are 2 parts to a Maproom,
The visable part stays where you dragged it and the invisable part snaps back to the center.
When you are in the game only the visable part will be seen, right where you put it:aok

Is there a way to automaticly add a map room to a town for each field?  Or do you have to individually place each map room?

Towns have a map room already in them as do ports and vehicle fields.

thats good news,

I take it we can ignore the object error report for now, when it says "field (so and so) does not have a map room"...

when I place a maproom I make its object type map room
