Just a personal opinion, but I don't like the eny balance thing. I guess its good for people who spend many hours flying and percieve problems in balancing, grass texture, and mountain height, but for those of us who log on a for a couple of hours to vent frustration, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

That just my opinion and no doubt there are large threads about it. But when logging on for an hour to fight a few, you now have to worry if the plane you like to fly is going to be available. I had fun anyway, but it kept sticking in my mind - I really feel like flying a spit.

Any bumber stickers stating "You are having too much fun" should be banned from htc.

02 and nothing more.

IL2: FB AEP helps me in this department.

I think the ENY balance helps everyone understand there are other planes to fly and lets you enjoy them.

>>I think the ENY balance helps everyone understand there are other planes to fly and lets you enjoy them.<<

I guess, but thats a little assuming also. Lets say we tried the other rides, and like the spit? You could sit here from now to doomsday and tell me how wonderful the p38 is. I don't have a rudder - I don't wanna fly it. Even if I had a rudder I just may not like to fly it - no matter how busy it may seem.

I dunno, it just seems like someone is shoveling vegatables on the plate. I know they are good for you, and I've tried them all from squash to brussel sprouts. But at 46, if I fee like cheetos then by gosh I WANT CHEETOS. Don't tell me I only want cheetos because, I've never had lobster. Chances are most have had all.

Well another way at looking at it is that it teaches you theres other ways to fly and fight.

Someone who boomed and zoom all their rides could now get friendly with a smaller, lighter and easily manueverable plane and learn to make shots count with its limited weaponry.

Or someone who is used to turning with a high powered fighter will take a look at a booming and zooming plane.

Theres other planes than a P51, Spit, La7, and Niki. The 202 is a good fighter, so is the Tony.

the eny thing isnt as bad now that its been adjusted up some .

it was a killer when total MA #'s were below 150 (I rediscovered the RooYakovich )

along with the fact that a bunch of players and squads rotated countrys .. its almost too balanced now .

Oh yea Rangoon !!!  woo hoo

Senario's are a blast guys (check your MA attitude at the door and slip into the allied or axis mode )

Correct me if I am wrong but, the ENY system has never and will never eliminate the (insert low-ENY-dweeb-ride-du-jour here) from the game. It merely decides that one (usually) or two (very seldom) countries cannot use it sometimes.

You got 30 minutes and wanna fly the Spit9 there's a 100% guarantee that it is available 24X7 in the MA.

Good point, Ed.

And .... Rangoon `42 will begin October 30th whereupon the staunch and steadfast Allies (comprised of the American Volunteer Group, the RAF, the RAAF and the RNZAF) will bravely keep the Japanese aggressors at the gate.
