CV survivability
« on: September 20, 2004, 04:29:26 AM »
Is it my imagination or    are CVs too easy to kill?
Saw a 110 straffe it dead on more than one occasion.
Latest was an F6 and a HURR , what a joke.

Please adjust the hardness of the CV to a realistic level.
It sucks to sail a task force across the map to see it sunk by one pass of a 110.

Ridiculously easy. Whats more, if an attacking a/c gets past the lazer like acks, the CV can be strafed or seriously damaged by 1 or 2 eggs. I'm not sure but the damage model may be set up to cover hits on certain areas of the ship which would make it tougher to bring one down. Used to be if a CV took a certain number of hits by6 certain pounds of bombs it would simply sink, now there are flames in sections of the ship and it stays afloat; I like that better but, to be able to strafe and sink a mamoth like a CV just isn't quite right.
